Our Statement of Beliefs
1. We believe the Bible is the only perfect order of our faith and way of life to which nothing can be added or taken way. (II Peter 1:21, II Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 1:16, Revelation 22:18-19)
2. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is God. He assumed a human body through a virgin called Mary to be both divine and human. (John 1:1-14, I Timothy 3:16)
3. We believe that regeneration is received only through faith in Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead. For this reason we baptize by immersion in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Romans 3:24, II Corinthians 5:17, I Corinthians 1:30, Acts 2:38)
4. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:1-4)
5. We believe in commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (Communion) according to Luke 22:19-20 and I Corinthians 11:23-30.
6. We believe that provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Bible and privileges for the church in this present age. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, John 5:14, James 5:14)
7. We believe in the personal bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ for His Church. (Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:16, I Corinthians 15:51-54)
